Buy Now Of Forever Hold Your Peace

a couple of months ago I came across the most amazing high street shoes ever, well I say high street I do mean ASOS. They were so amazing they rivaled even the Christian Louboutin Freddy Flats, and they were only like £40 BARGAIN! But, thinking they were a little too busy for the average ASOS shopping man, I thought I was safe to wait till I had money instead of going to the parents with a presentation on why I needed yet another pair of shoes...biggest mistake. After 2 days of lustfully staring at my laptop screen, my size was sold out. SOLD OUT!? I underestimated how many size 11 fashionistas were out there...no, I underestimated how many guys would lust after these shoes as much as I did, after a week my hopes for them coming back into stock were shattered, the shoes were completely sold out, my life has never been the same...

of course I saved the pictures, the blue velvet, the gold embroidery... I needed reminding what happens when you wait to buy things, I'm trying to rely on my parents less (independence is needed!!!!) so...homeboy needs a job so I can impulse buy when ever I see something and start to drool. Heed my warning, the potential outfit these shoes could have made perfect will haunt me forever, don't make my mistake!

Don't Be Silly...Wrap Yourself In H&M

I'm not the biggest fan of H&M...ok that's an understatement I'm not really a fan at all, their clothes just fall apart too easily, like they're not made to last at all. Every now and then I go in and find something that's just...amazing. My last H&M purchase? A black double breasted cardigan with an almost embossed hounds tooth knit, I didn't even realise at first, but its definitely the reason my brain told me I needed it. A few months later, 2 holes in the right cuff, 1 hole in the left cuff, a hole in the back and an almost rat chewed thing happening on the side...

Now before this turns into a rant blog about their disturbingly mass produced cloth
es I will say I love their 'Fashion Against AIDS' collections, they seem to put a bit more care into this collection and of course donate money to HIV/AIDS projects all around the world. I have the T shirt designed by Roisin Murphy from like 2 (!?) years ago, and it has surprisingly lasted. This Teamed with my new fascination with Beige, Greys, and Camel tones for summer meant I'm rather excited for the new collection coming out in April.

The biggest thing I love about this collection is it seems all designs are unisex (I'm a sucker for gender ambiguous and androgyny) Then there's the askew messages and a pretty hot text, then there's that scoop on the gray T shirt and THEN theres beige looks almost like, dare I say it, silk...both shall be mineI'm really feeling the Parkers and I will need a water proof jacket for our amazing English Summer days, The bags are interesting I can't work out if they're plastic, or latex, or rubber or something! I'm loving the scarf too, but I know it would be one of those instantly recognizable pieces, the jump suit... No Thanks.

I'm hoping there's more pieces to the collection, maybe a few more T shirts, but as we know H&M is pretty easy on the wallet the T shirts are £19.99 - £12.99, The jackets and jumpsuit are £29.99, the scarf £6.99 and the bags £9.99...delightful!
